FOUNDING MEMBER, STOWERS CONNECTION, MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS GROUP
-Saw a need for wholistic mental health support and partnered with Administration to begin development of a program for our entire 550 person company with special emphasis on graduate students and postdoctoral researchers
-Became a certified Mental Health First Aider and encouraged other leaders to also complete training
-Coordinate monthly webinars or panel discussions with mental health experts. Topics include: Compassion & Empathy Fatigue, Art Therapy, Mental Health in 2e Populations, The Intersections of Music & Emotion.

-Plan and execute annual Young Investigator Science Retreat – an internal conference with 250 attendees highlighting the work of predoctoral and postdoctoral researchers through poster presentations and selected speakers
